Honda's overseas luxury brand Acura will soon unveil its own version of the recent Urban SUV, while Honda will debut a new people-mover concept.

Bound for Shanghai this month, Acura's concept will preview a production model that will enter beneath the RDX and MDX models, taking on Audi's Q3 and the Range Rover Evoque.

Honda's concept could preview either a next-generation Odyssey or, more likely, a new compact people-mover.

Teased here in a pair of stylised illustrations, the concepts will evolve the styling languages of both brands - although the MPV concept will draw heavily on the look of the new Civic Tourer wagon.

The Acura crossover (pictured above) will wear a more practical roofline than its Honda-badged concept cousin, and it is likely we'll see a near production-ready design when it debuts in Shanghai.

Watch for more details on both concepts over the coming weeks.
