2018 Skoda Rapid Spaceback – Price And Features For Australia

Around three months after making its European debut, the updated Skoda Rapid is now on sale in Australia.

The Rapid Spaceback, Skoda’s name for the ‘traditional’ Rapid hatch, is priced from $23,990 drive-away for the 2018 model-year. 

Rapid customers in Australia will now be limited to a one-size-fits-all model, with only the 92TSI petrol-powered variant on show matched only with a seven-speed DSG automatic transmission.

Power comes via a 1.4 litre four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine making 92kW and 200Nm, sending power to the front wheels.

In the outgoing model at least, the Rapid 92TSI with DSG auto sipped 4.9 l/100km, and has a 0-100km/h time of 8.9 seconds.
