Less than one week after Ford released the first images and details of its facelifted 2018 Mustang coupe, the 2018 Mustang convertible has been revealed, closely following the lead set by the hardtop variant.

With a restyled front end including new front guards, dual bonnet scoops, a lower-set grille and shark-eye stepped-headlights, the front end design of the Mustang convertible copies the look of the redesign of the coupe.

Ford is yet to release any official images of the pony-car’s rear end but buyers can expect to find the same tri-bar taillights, revised bootlid garnish panel and reprofiled rear bumper and diffuser as the coupe.

Other available features include a 12-inch customisable instrument cluster, driver assist technologies including pre-collision assist with pedestrian detection and MyMode setting memory that keeps the Mustang in its last-used drive modes.
