2017 Volkswagen Amarok Interior Given A Car-Like Redesign

Just as the powertrain for the 2017 Volkswagen Amarok is set to receive a sizeable upgrade courtesy of a range of powerful new turbo diesel V6 engines, the interior is also set to be transformed.

When Volkswagen first announced the facelifted Amarok, the focus was on the engines, and while a new dashboard design was promised, it wasn’t shown.

That’s now changed, with Volkswagen offering the first single image and initial details of the interior of its new workhorse.

While the Amarok arrived as a breath of fresh air in the light commercial segment, Volkswagen has gone back to the drawing board for the redesigned dash, and returned with an even more passenger car-like treatment.
