2017 Toyota RAV4 – Price And Features For Updated SUV

Toyota has boosted the appeal of its midsized RAV4 SUV, with new standard features and the option of additional safety tech in some models for the 2017 model-year.

Eight of the ten Rav4 variants are now available with a safety pack which includes autonomous emergency braking, as the options list for the entry-level GX (but only when optioned with an automatic transmission) now aligns closer to the GXL and top-spec Cruiser models. 

GX buyers can also choose a dual-tone paint finish as an add-on, once they have selected the optional safety pack. This adds silver accents to the wheel arches, door sills, side mirrors and bumpers.  

The safety pack is priced from $3800 in the GX, and includes forward collision warning with autonomous emergency braking, active cruise control, lane departure warning with steering assist, automatic high beam and wipers along with front parking sensors and a sway warning system while towing.
