The evergreen Toyota LandCruiser 70 Series is set to be treated to yet another overhaul, this time developed in part by Toyota Australia’s engineering team.

The updates, making it stronger and safer than before, confirm an announcement made by Toyota last year regarding the planned changes. Down below is a new stiffer frame with thicker side-rails designed to reduce vibrations and improve stability.

Safety features will be boosted with hill-start assist, brake assist, electronic brakeforce distribution and cruise control becoming standard equipment across all variants of the 70 Series range.
