Renault has expanded its small car range with the addition of the Megane sedan and wagon to join the existing five-door hatch.

The Megane wagon will arrive with a three-model range covering base-model Zen and sporty-styled GT-Line variants powered by a 97kW/205Nm 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine, or the sportier GT grade with a 151kW/280Nm 1.6-litre turbo petrol engine with all variants featuring a seven-speed dual clutch automatic.

The Megane Zen wagon is priced from $28,490 (plus on-road costs) with standard features including front and rear park sensors, a reversing camera, 16-inch alloy wheels, 7.0-inch touchscreen navigation, auto lights and wipers, keyless entry and start, Bluetooth, eight-speaker audio, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel.
