2017 Hyundai Sonata Update Unveiled In Korea

Hyundai has unveiled its refreshed mid-size 2017 Sonata sedan in its home country, away from the dazzling lights of the Geneva Motor Show. 

While the medium size sedan segment is usually one of the most conservatively styled areas of the automotive landscape, Hyundai has broken away from this somewhat with the inclusion of large S-O-N-A-T-A lettering across the rear, similar to that seen on the HSV Senator.  

However, besides the rear end badging the Sonata's overall appearance is fairly tame, with smooth, sweeping lines with dollops of chrome and the sprinkling LED light, the 17-inch allow wheels - with the option to upsize to 18s - and the brand's signature 'cascading grille' help give the Sonata an inoffensive, pleasant look.
