Ford has unveiled its updated Fusion mid-size sedan range at the Detroit Auto Show today, revealing a bevy of cosmetic upgrades alongside two new hybrid variants and a powerful new twin-turbo 2.7 litre V6 flagship.
With 242kW of power, 475Nm of torque, all-wheel drive and adaptive dampers, the Fusion V6 Sport is an energy-drink-swilling performance-oriented version of Ford's otherwise sensible sedan.
But not that you'd really tell from the outside. There are reprofiled bumpers at front and rear along with new alloy wheel designs, headlamps and tail lamps - typical mid-cycle update stuff - but the differences aren't all that stark.
