Volksagen is reportedly developing a second version of its next Tiguan SUV, targeting buyers in the seven-seater market.
The second-generation Tiguan is expected to hit global markets in early 2016, but until now it had been expected to continue the current five-seat formula.
Earlier reports had pointed to the large CrossBlue concept, which is around 200mm longer than the already large Touareg, as the company’s only contender for a seven-seat SUV.
