2016 Toyota HiLux Spied Testing

Toyota’s next-generation HiLux has been spied testing in Southern Europe this week, offering the clearest look yet at its new styling.

As expected, the all-new 2016 HiLux will debut with a more muscular look than the nearly 10 year-old seventh-generation model.

Those meatier proportions will boost the new model’s appeal against other muscly rivals, including the Ford Ranger, Volkswagen’s Amarok and the recently revealed 2015 Nissan Navara.

Like the all-new Kluger SUV, the new HiLux will wear a broad new grille and long headlights, set high above a tall front bumper and a deep lower grille design.
