While Mercedes-Benz new C-class sedan and wagon models are fast becoming a familiar sight on Australian roads, the existing coupe version soldiers on as-is.

That’s expected to change with the debut of the ‘C205’ coupe body style, which will be first seen at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September.

Chief designer at Mercedes-Benz, Gorden Wagner, promises a more sporting look for the new model. As a result the roofline will be lowered by some 40mm over the current model.
