2016 Jaguar XF Spied Testing

Did you hear the one about the fella who pulled into a McDonald's drive-through in his new Jaguar XE and the attendant asked if he'd like to upsize?

Neither have we, but chances appear strong that Jaguar is planning precisely that with its coming new XF sedan: an 'embiggened' version of the XE. 

Revealed earlier last month and showcased again in Paris this week, the new midsized XE blends much of the current XF's still-fresh styling with a powerful new design language for the brand. 

While the seven year-old XF remains one of the more stylish offerings on the market, it is clear from these latest spy photos that its influence on the new XE will soon come back around.
