After a long lead-in, the covers have finally come off the two-door version of the the Honda Civic Coupe.

Unveiled at the LA Auto Show, the coupe joins the previously unveiled sedan. Unlike the sedan however, the Coupe won’t leave North American shores, meaning Australia won’t get it.

While the overall shape closely follows the Civic Concept, first shown at New York in April, the finer details have been toned-down in the move to production, with less-aggressive bumpers at each end, smaller wheels, and modified head and tail-lights.

What hasn’t changed is the outline of the C-shaped tail lights, with a centre stop-light joining the two lamp assemblies, adding to the coupe’s visual width.
