2016 Holden Volt Face Revealed Ahead Of Detroit Auto Show Debut

General Motors has offered a first look at the face of its next-generation Volt EV, again likely to come to Australia with Holden’s lion badge.

TMR’s own spy photos have revealed the new Volt will feature a slightly more conventional profile, with a tapered roofline that drops further into a liftback hatch-style rear end.

The spied prototype vehicle also appears wider and lower than the current model, pointing to a more sporting look that could also see the Volt given a small power boost.

This latest teaser image, which follows a tightly cropped shot last year of the new Volt’s rump, reveals a number of key front-end styling details.
