BMW’s new 7 Series has surfaced once again without disguise, this time in a dark copper finish and no small amount of bling.
This latest shot, which shows off the big new sedan’s more sporting profile, follows a handful of revealing spy photos that highlighted its other key angles in January.
BMW has handed down more than a few details on the new model as it builds up to the limo’s September debut, showcasing a number of technological firsts for the brand.
Among them will be completely autonomous parking and an all-new gesture-oriented version of BMW’s iDrive infotainment control system and display.
The company has also revealed that the new 7 Series will weigh around 130kg less than the outgoing model, thanks in large part to a liberal use of carbon fibre and aluminium in its construction.
The new 7 Series is expected to launch with 740i, 740d and 750i models initially, with other variants to join the range later in 2016.
The long-rumoured M7 badge is also believed to be on its way. If that comes to pass, expect either AMG S 65-rivalling V12 design, or a lighter arrangement that focuses on BMW’s 4.4 litre turbo V8.
Key rivals for the new 7 Series will again include the Audi A8 and the Mercedes-Benz S-Class, along with Jaguar’s XJ and the more affordable Lexus LS.
