Here’s what the 2015 Skoda Fabia RS might look like, according to Russian graphic artist X-Tomi Design.
The rendered image shows slightly larger wheels, red brake callipers and more aggressive front styling, along with the obligatory RS badging on the grille and a green paint finish.
Last year, however, rumours that the RS hot-hatch and wagon would not be carried over with the new model mean this may be as close as we get to a new Fabia RS.
The Czech carmaker apparently blamed the model’s high price in European markets, believing buyers wanted the look of the RS but couldn’t ‘afford’ the powered-up engine.
Whether a renewed interest – should it happen - in the Fabia RS will be strong enough for Skoda to have another crack at it or not is unclear, but the carmaker has not officially ruled the model out at this stage.
Meanwhile, expect more details on the ‘regular’ Skoda Fabia when it makes its motor show debut in Paris in October.
