Renault Megane RS275 Trophy Revealed, Australian Debut Due Third Quarter

Renault has pulled the wraps from the latest evolution of its world-beating hot hatch, revealing the limited-edition Megane RS 275 Trophy today ahead of a third-quarter Australian launch.

The re-worked Megane will be used to launch a new assault on the Nurburgring lap charts, and a debut at the coming Goodwood Festival of Speed is also planned.

As the name suggests, power is boosted to 275ps (271hp, 202kW) at 5500rpm, marking a small but significant increase over the 195kW of its direct predecessor, the RS 265.
