Porsche has added a quartet of new offerings to its growing 911 range, returning the GTS badge to the line-up this week.
The new series will be offered in both rear- and all-wheel-drive form across the coupe and convertible styles. Power is provided by a powered-up version of Porsche’s 3.8 litre direct-injected flat six.
The enhanced six sees power boosted 19kW to 316kW, but torque figures for the engine - which offers 440Nm in its regular form - are still to be revealed.
Buyers will have the choice of seven-manual or PDK dual-clutch automatic shifters, and Porsche says that, in auto coupe form, the 911 GTS will hit 100km/h in 4.0 seconds flat. That climbs slightly to 4.2 for the Cabriolet.
Standard kit includes black 20-inch alloy wheels and a 10mm lower ride height than the S model, and both rear- and all-wheel-drive versions get the Carrera 4’s wider body and track.
Porsche’s Sport Chrono pack with launch control is also standard, along with the PASM active damper system (the source of that 10mm lower ride height).
Also add unique bumper treatments, dark chrome exhaust finish, and bi-xenon headlights with smoked lenses.
In the cabin there’s Alcantara trim to a number of surfaces, and leather-trimmed sports seats with Alcantara inserts.
