2015 Mazda CX-5 Facelift Spied Testing

The first Mazda to wear the company's new ‘Kodo’ styling will soon debut a refreshed look, as our new spy photos show.

Spied testing this week, it is clear that the midsized CX-5 will be given a mild makeover that will see it adopt some of the finer details worn by the more recent Mazda3 and Mazda2 models.

Camouflage obscures those details for now, but it appears we can at least expect new LED daytime lights in the front lamps.

The final design of those LEDs remains to be revealed, although we could see the half-circle design that debuted with the all-new Mazda2 in July.

We might also see an update to the grille design, with the ‘blade’ garnish to extend in behind the headlights, similar again to the new Mazda2.
