2015 Land Rover Discovery Sport Spied Testing: Freelander Replacement

Land Rover’s new Discovery Sport SUV has been spied testing again this week, shifting from a winter scene to the fast and dry Nurburgring. 

Replacing the existing Freelander, the new Discovery Sport is Land Rover's first step in expanding the well-regarded Discovery brand. 

The new model will also be the first to to wear Land Rover’s all-new styling language, teased with the recent Vision concept.

Land Rover describes the Discovery Sport as an “all-new premium compact SUV”, with McGovern saying at today’s New York Auto Show that it will be “the most versatile and capable” model in its class.
