2015 HSV Range Revamped, R8 Models Now 340kW As Standard

Fresh off the back of revealing the limited-edition GTS Maloo, HSV has announced a raft of updates to its Gen-F range of V8 powered sports sedans, utes and wagons. 

The big news is a power increase for all Maloo R8, Clubsport R8 and Clubsport Tourer R8 models.

For 2015, all R8 models are upgraded to the SV Enhanced package - previously a $2295 option - boosting power from 325 to 340kW and torque from 500 to 570Nm.

The regular Clubsport and Maloo models don't miss out either: the 317kW 6.2 litre V8 has been replaced with the R8's 325kW unit, making them a match for the earlier E3 HSV GTS. 

All models bar the Grange now get a bi-modal exhaust as standard and, as with the 2015 SS V Redline, all six-speed auto models also get wheel-mounted paddle shifters.
