For 2015, all R8 models are upgraded to the SV Enhanced package - previously a $2295 option - boosting power from 325 to 340kW and torque from 500 to 570Nm.
The regular Clubsport and Maloo models don't miss out either: the 317kW 6.2 litre V8 has been replaced with the R8's 325kW unit, making them a match for the earlier E3 HSV GTS.
All models bar the Grange now get a bi-modal exhaust as standard and, as with the 2015 SS V Redline, all six-speed auto models also get wheel-mounted paddle shifters.
Cosmetically, the 2015 HSV Gen-F range gets some mild updates.
There are no major changes to bodywork or bumpers, but two new colours have been added to the palette: 'Jungle Green' and 'Some Like It Hot Red'. These replace the current 'Karma' and 'Fantale' options.
Sedans will be available with a new Hyperflow rear spoiler, which sits higher and sports a more prominent design than the Clubsport's previous wing.
A 'Pitch Black' styling package will also be available, adding black accent stripes and black mirror casings, along with a subtle bootlip spoiler on the Clubsport R8 and a tailgate applique on the R8 Tourer.
The GTS gets a new 'Dark Stainless' finish on its 20-inch alloys, while the R8's 20-inch wheels get 'Tornado Grey accents.

Production of the 2015 HSV Gen-F range commences in early November, with deliveries slated to begin later that month.
