2015 Ford Focus RS In Doubt: Report

A return for Ford’s hero Focus RS hatch is again in doubt, with a new report this week claiming the company has yet to give the go-ahead for a new special.

According to the UK’s Autocar magazine, Ford Europe boss Stephen Odell said this week that while the RS has been an important line for the brand, there is “nothing to talk about” on the topic of a return.

“It’s great that we have a proud past with RS, and it’s clear it has acted as a halo product and a way of linking to our racing programmes, but for now there is nothing to say,” Odell told the magazine.
