Ford has today offered a first look at its next-generation Edge SUV, widely believed to be the inevitable replacement for Australia's popular Territory.
Like the large Falcon sedan, production of the Territory is scheduled to end in 2016, leaving a gap in the carmaker's local SUV line-up.
For now, Ford remains tight-lipped on its plans for replacing either of its home-grown products, although it appears likely the Edge will eventually sit between the small Kuga and the larger Everest 4WD.
