2015 Falcon XR8 Celebrated in ‘Falcon Fanatics’ Clip: Video

Ford has released a new video short this week that sees its reborn XR8 hero car threaded through a fan-lined course in celebration of its coming launch.

Filmed during a special ‘Falcon Fanatic’ event at Melbourne’s Avalon Airport last month, the clip sees V8 Supercar driver Mark Winterbottom steer the powerful 335kW sedan past the brand’s most loyal fans.

Bathurst winner Chaz Mostert and racing legend Allan Moffat were also on hand to meet and talk with fans brought together through an online forum-driven recruitment campaign organised for the special event, including a handful from New Zealand.

The video’s release follows the official unveiling of the returned and re-styled XR8 in Melbourne last month, which followed its online debut back in July.
