2015 CHRYSLER 300
Chrysler’s big 300 sedan is coming in for some key updates, following the second-generation model’s 2011 international debut.
Launching in Australia around this time in 2012, the new 300 first appeared in December 2010 ahead of a Detroit Auto Show launch the following month.
These latest spy photos reveal that the large sedan will pick up minor exterior tweaks for the new model year, including a bolder grille design and updated headlights.
Similar changes can be expected at the rear, where a new bumper and updated tail-lights are hidden by heavy vinyl wraps.
Tweaks will also appear in the cabin, where we can see more heavy camouflage obscuring most of a redesigned centre stack that gets new controls.
Chrysler’s 3.6 litre Pentastar petrol V6 is likely to continue in the base model, along with its 3.0 litre turbodiesel and 5.7 litre petrol V8 mills.
The V6 petrol model’s ZF eight-speed auto is also expected to be standard across the range, replacing the five-speed unit used in the diesel and V8 models.
Watch for more details to come ahead of an expected Los Angeles Auto Show debut in November.
