Chrysler has launched a new limited-edition version of its hero 300 SRT sedan into Australia this week, in the not-quite-gaseous form of the Satin Vapour.
Based on the entry ‘Core’ specification, the 300 SRT Core Satin Vapour, the new special wafts into Australia with the same $60,000 price point, but adds a handful of extra features.
Standard kit beyond the regular Core model include Chrysler’s 8.4 inch UConnect display with satellite navigation and reversing camera, along with leather-accented seats and a dual-pane panoramic sunroof.
A number of items have also been updated with satin and gloss black finishes, including the mirror caps, rear spoiler, grille, window surrounds and smaller garnishes. The roof is also finished in a satin black wrap.
The 300 SRT Core Satin Vapour rides on satin-black 20-inch aluminium alloy wheels in front of red callipers, and power is provided by the same 347kW 6.4 litre V8 that drives the regular SRT models.
Availability is limited to 133 units across all of Chrysler’s Australian dealers.
