2015 BMW X6 Gets New M Performance Accessories

BMW has increased the appeal of its X6 ‘Sports Activity Coupe’, with a host of new M Performance options.

The German carmaker says the new options list will suit buyers looking to give their SUV “an even sharper sporting edge”, including a chance to boost the engine’s power.

Both the xDrive30d diesel and xDrive35i petrol models can now be ordered with more go as part of a “Power Kit”, which also includes an upgraded brake package.

The diesel gains 14kW and 25Nm to arrive at a new output of 204kW/585Nm, and the Power Kit improves the 0-100km/h time by 0.2 seconds.

The petrol-powered X6 winds the performance dial up even more, gaining 15kW and 50Nm for a new output of 240kW/450Nm while improving the 0-100km/h sprint by up to 0.5 seconds.
