2015 Audi TT And TTS Detailed Further, On Sale In Europe

New details of Audi’s 2015 TT and TTS sports coupes have emerged, as the German carmaker prepares to begin deliveries in Europe.

The TT now has a price-tag for European customers, with buyers in the car’s German homeland required to hand over at least €35,000 (AU$48,340) for the entry-level model.

In comparison, the automatic-only and about-to-be-superseded TT range in Australia was priced from $69,350 to $139,990, plus on-road costs. 

From launch the new TT will be available with a choice of two engines in various markets: one petrol and one diesel unit, both with stop/start technology. 

The performance-focused TTS will be a petrol-only affair (for now, at least), and is predictably faster than the TT over the 0-100km/h sprint with a time of 4.6 seconds.
