Audi has revealed today that its new third-generation TT range will start from $71,950 when it debuts in Australia next month.
Two model lines will be offered from launch: Sport and S Line, both powered by a 169kW and 370Nm 2.0 litre turbo petrol engine.
That combination means that the new TT is 44kW/20Nm more powerful and $2250 more affordable than the equivalent model in Australia’s current TT range.
“The all-new new third-generation model extends the sporty concept that the original began, and now more than ever, the new TT is a true sports car and also a technology leader,” Audi Australia chief Andrew Doyle said today.
“In Australia, we know that our TT customers place a high value on the kind of technology that is showcased in this car, so we have worked hard to ensure a really outstanding level of standard equipment.”
Standard kit with the new TT in Australia will include MMI touch, a proximity ‘convenience key’, and electric front seats with Alcantara and leather upholstery.
Matrix LED headlights and a selection of sporty new alloy wheel designs up to 20 inches in diameter are also available.
Audi has yet to confirm timing or prices for the top-shelf TT S hero model, although a late 2015 launch is expected.
More on the Australian 2015 TT range will be revealed in the weeks ahead.
