2014 Volkswagen Scirocco Update Bound For Geneva: Report

Volkswagen has reportedly ended production of the current Scirocco R sports hatch, ahead of an early 2014 launch for the long-expected facelift. 

With production of the Scirocco R's turbocharged EA113 now ended, the wait is on for the updated model and - most likely - the EA888 engine that powers the new Golf GTI and R models. 

Reports suggest the facelifted 2014 Scirocco will appear March's Geneva Motor Show, and recent spy photos reveal that testing of the revised model is nearly complete.
