2014 Volkswagen Golf R Spied In New Skin, 220kW Powerplant Reported

Volkswagen's top-shelf Golf R hatch has been spied testing once more, this time hammering around the Nurburgring with new aero parts attached. 

The tester can be seen wearing a unique new front bumper, along with corner-mounted exhaust tips that replace the central setup of the current model.

Reports of the new R's performance capabilities have also grown, with expected output ranging between 205kW to an Audi S3-matching 221kW.
