Toyota has added new features to its RAV4 range for Australia, less than a year on from the new model’s local launch.

Boosting safety and comfort levels, the updates also bring price increases between $200 to $1800. And for 2014, Toyota has removed four manual-transmission models, “reflecting customer demand”.

The technology update also marks a first for the brand’s local family, with the RAV4 Cruiser debuting Toyota’s Reverse Cross Traffic Alert.
