2014 SUZUKI SWIFT PRICES
Suzuki's updated Swift hatch is now available in Australia, following its international unveiling in June last year.
For 2014, the Swift line drops the entry GA model, adds a handful of styling tweaks and new features, and gains a new mid-range model known as the Navigator. Prices have also been shuffled across the range.
The update sees the well-equipped GL reduced from $16,990 to $15,990, replacing the GA as the entry-level model in the Swift range.
The $17,490 Navigator enters with a new 6.1-inch touchscreen display that includes satellite navigation, lane assist, voice commands, Bluetooth phone and audio, and USB/SD-card connectivity.
The GLX, now priced from $21,990 and available with an automatic transmission only, also picks up new LED daytime running lights in the front bumper, along with new-design 16-inch alloy wheels.
All models pick up a bold new front bumper design, with fog lights included for Navigator and GLX models.
Ventilated front disc brakes are standard for all models, while rear brakes include drums for the Navigator and GL, and solid discs for the GLX.
The 2014 Swift remains mechanically unchanged, with power provided by a 70kW/130Nm four-cylinder petrol engine.
Transmission choices again include a five-speed manual (fuel use: 5.5 l/100km) and a four-speed auto (6.2 l/100km).
The $23,990 Swift Sport also features satellite navigation.
