SsangYong's next-generation Stavic, sold in other markets as the Rodius and Korando Turismo, has been caught in South Korea this week.

The big people mover's final form remains true to the artwork released earlier in the week, revealing the latest step in new owner Mahindra's plans for Korea's third-largest carmaker.

Captured during a dealer presentation in its homeland, these images also preview what Australian buyers can likely expect in the coming year.

The new model is expected to get an official unveiling at next month's Geneva Motor Show, where the carmaker is due to reveal specifications and launch plans.

Full details are still to be revealed, although SsangYong has confirmed that engine options will include a 3.2 litre petrol engine and a smaller 2.0 litre diesel.
