Skoda's new small-but-medium 2014 Octavia range is now on sale in Australia, with official details released today (ahead of the press embargo) after the company's customer website inadvertently 'leaked' prices and model details. 

The new Octavia, available in sedan and wagon form, kicks off with the $21,690 Ambition 103TSI manual sedan. Skoda has also confirmed a very appealing drive-away price of $22,990 for this model. 

Today's launch also brings news of Skoda's capped-price servicing program, with the Octavia the first model to be covered. Read on for further details.

The debut of the new Octavia, first revealed nearly one year ago, comes as part of a styling and quality overhaul for the Volkswagen-owned Czech brand. 

The new model draws on the looks of the smaller Rapid, wearing a no-nonsense suit of sharp lines and understated modern features.
