Renault’s new Clio RS Monaco GP edition has landed in Australia, after making its European debut in March.
Arriving on the heels of the ‘regular’ Clio RS models that hit Australia late last year, the new special will be limited to just 55 units.
Priced at $38,290 plus on-roads (compared to $36,790 for the top-shelf Cup Trophy model), the Cup-based Monaco GP edition packs a handful of styling and feature tweaks.
Available exclusively in a pearl white finish, the Monaco GP rides on 18-inch black alloy wheels, set in front of red brake callipers.

There’s a ‘Diamond Black’ finish to the roof, along with gloss black touches to the front blade, rear spoiler and diffuser, side protective strips, door handles and door mirrors.
Monaco GP badging rounds out the exterior changes, mounted low on the rear doors.
In the cabin there’s a combination black and grey treatment, including Dark Metal highlights to the steering wheel, gear lever knob and gaiter, along with the steering wheel boss and speaker surrounds.
Numbered Monaco GP badging appears on the door sills, and the Renault Sport floor mats gain a grey border.
Standard features include heated leather front seats, R-Link connectivity, and extra-dark tint to the rear and rear-side windows.
Renault’s RS Monitor 2.0 is also featured (as it is in the Cup Trophy), boasting a Replay function that lets users create and download racing circuits to record their driving performance against.
“We previously launched a Megane R.S. Monaco GP limited edition in 2011 and it sold like hot cakes so I’m confident that the Clio R.S. Monaco GP will be in high demand once it hits the showroom floors,” Renault Australia boss Justin Hocevar said.
Limited to 55 units, the Clio RS Monaco GP is available now.
