Land Rover's all-new Range Rover Sport has surfaced again this week, as new official images follow a handful of revealing spy photos onto the net.

Obtained by Russian website Autowp, these new images offer the first 'official' look at the new Sport - although earlier than Land Rover would have liked.

The images again confirm that the new Sport has followed the larger Range Rover into new styling territory, with both models drawing on the looks of the compact Evoque SUV.

Scalpel-like headlights flank a slender grille design on the new raked front-end, while the profile gets new defining new character lines and a small vent in the front guards.

The theme continues at the rear, with small Evoque-inspired taillights wrapping into the rear guards, while the D-pillar and tailgate take on a more sports-focused slant.

Technical details for the new model remain a secret for now, although Land Rover is scheduled to unveil the 2014 RR Sport today.

it is known that the new Sport be lighter than its predecessor and will share many components with the new Range Rover.

Engine options are expected to include a pair of 190kW 3.0 litre V6 and 250kW 4.4 litre V8 diesels, along with supercharged 253kW 3.0 litre V6 and 380kW 5.0 litre V8 petrols.
