Images of the all-new 2014 Peugeot 308 hatch have surfaced online today, following a handful of cropped images that appeared overnight.
These new images offer a complete look at the new hatch, revealing exterior and interior styling that pulls the 308 in-line with Peugeot's newer models.
Among the changes to the 308's familiar look is a tight new beltline, with the current model’s front quarter windows ditched in favour of a single piece window design, and the wing mirrors moved to the base of the A-Pillar.
For now, we know that the new 308 will use the Peugeot-Citroen PSA Group’s EMP2 platform that underpins the new Citroen C4 Picasso, and a diesel-electric Hybrid4 variant of the new 308 could also appear.
This will also be the first 3 series Peugeot to re-use the 308 name - rather than evolving to a 309 badge - as part of the carmaker's new naming strategy.
The new Peugeot 308 is expected to be officially revealed at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September, before going on sale in early 2014.
