2014 NISSAN QASHQAI
Destined to replace the compact Dualis in the Australian market, the new Qashqai will make its global debut later this week.
Little has been revealed about the new model, although it is believed the new Qashqai will do away with its seven-seat option, pointing bigger families to the larger X-Trail.
The Qashqai is also expected to launch internationally with a pair of 1.6 litre diesel engines borrowed from partner Renault, offering 80kW and 95kW.
It is unclear which of these engines will come to Australia, although we could see a more powerful 2.0 litre unit, just as the current Dualis offers locally.
