Nissan’s all-new Navara will hit local sandpits in early 2015, but, until it does, the strong-selling current generation will soldier on.
To keep sales moving nicely, Nissan has reintroduced the limited-edition Titanium model, based on the popular $47,290 Navara ST Dual Cab 4x4.
Priced from $48,790 plus on-roads, the Titanium adds new alloy wheels, leather trim and a sunroof, along with a titanium-look finish to the grille, side mirror caps and door handles.
Other exterior tweaks include a nudge bar with driving lights, a rear sports bar with stop light, a tub liner and a soft tonneau cover.
Inside, the leather trim is joined by heated front seats, tinted rear windows and Navara-emblazoned carpet mats.
The pack is rounded out with Titanium Edition badges.
Manual and automatic transmissions are offered, priced from $48,790 and $51,090 respectively.
Sales for the ageing Navara range have slowed dramatically but remain healthy overall, with 8703 sales year-to-date - compared to 13,723 sales for the same period last year.
Nissan will be looking to the all-new Navara’s early 2015 debut to return the Navara badge to its strong sales positioned, and more runout deals this year will likely help keep the ship afloat.
