2014 NISSAN MURANO AUSTRALIA
For 2014, the second-generation Murano adds new safety features to the top Ti model, and sharp new limited-time drive-away pricing for both grades.
The entry ST model is unchanged for its final year, but the Ti gains blind-spot monitoring, lane departure warning and moving object detection.
The Ti also picks up live traffic monitoring upgrades for its satellite navigation system, and larger 20-inch alloy wheels are now standard for the top model.
These updates follow a 2012 upgrade that brought a revised grille and headlight design, along with a new front bumper, restyled tail-lights and a new roof-rail design.
Nissan's trusty VQ35DE 3.5 litre V6 petrol engine continues service under the bonnet of the Murano range, producing 191kW and 336Nm of torque.
Power is transferred through Nissan's Xtronic continuously variable auto-transmission (CVT). Average fuel consumption is listed at a claimed 10.9 l/100km.
Pricing (excludes on-roads unless noted)
Until March 31 2014, the Murano ST is available for $44,900 drive-away, and the range-topping Murano Ti is available for $57,790 drive-away.
(Note that the above prices are based on Victorian purchases. Consult your dealer for full details.)
- Murano ST CVT - $48,990 (estimated drive-away: $53,091)
- Murano Ti CVT - $60,240 (estimated drive-away: $66,464)
