MINI has offered a first look at the range-topping John Cooper Works model in its new Cooper line, revealed here as a thinly-veiled 'concept'.

There is little about this hotted-up hatch that we shouldn't expect to see with the final production model next year - although the brushed-steel look might be left on the shelf by then.

Among the features setting the JCW apart from its regular Cooper and Cooper S siblings is a unique styling kit that adds a little more flair to the perky little Brit.
