The cancellation of this year's Australian International Motor Show in Melbourne has seen carmakers searching for inventive new ways to showcase brand-new models.
To be held at the Royal Exhibition Buildings in Melbourne, Motoroclassica will host displays for a number of top-end carmakers, along with motorcycles and enthusiast clubs across all segments.
“Motorclassica attracts vehicles at the pinnacle of design, and we can think of no better occasion to host the unveiling of the all new Mercedes-Benz S-Class in Australia” said Horst Von Sanden, Managing Director, Mercedes-Benz Cars Australia/Pacific.
“Motorclassica is a truly unique event within Australasia and presents the perfect opportunity for motoring enthusiasts to take pleasure in witnessing both the classic and contemporary Mercedes-Benz vehicles.”
The new S-Class, unveiled earlier this year, will make its official Australian market debut in November, but Motorclassica will offer buyers a first chance to see the big limo 'in the metal'.
“It is a great honour and we are delighted that Mercedes-Benz has chosen Motorclassica to unveil the all new S-Class to the Australian media, the automotive industry and the public” said Paul Mathers, RACV Motorclassica Event Director.
“I am very confident that the unveiling of Mercedes-Benz’s newest and most technically advanced model will further strengthen the public interest in Motorclassica for 2013.”
