Mercedes is known to be preparing a little brother to the E-Class sized CLS 'four door coupe', and rumour has it that it'll wear the CLA badge on its bootlid when it arrives sometime in 2013.
Inspired by the Style Coupe concept and positioned above the B-Class hatch, the CLA is intended to give Mercedes buyers a cheaper sedan option than the C-Class.
This CLA prototype clearly displays an arched, CLS-inspired roofline, and a long front overhang.
Unlike the earlier CLC - which was based on the RWD W203 C-Class platform - this new CLA will be built atop the same modular FWD architecture that underpins the new B-Class.
