C-CLASS TO DEBUT IN DECEMBER
The all-new Mercedes-Benz C-Class midsizer will make its first official appearance in a couple of weeks, according to reports out of Germany this week.
A report with well-connected German enthusiast site Mercedes Passion claims a December 16 debut will occur online, ahead of a Detroit Motor Show unveiling in January.
This claim comes just weeks after the 2014 C-Class was caught without a shred of camouflage, spied during filming for the new model's advertising campaign.
Entering the range with a 'downsized S-Class' design, the new C wears a similar styling language, with a broad upright grille, bladed headlights, swooping character lines and tall tail-lights.
Shown here in full Sport kit - a styling and handling options pack - the new C-Class also gets deep ports and a lip spoiler in the front bumper, along with larger alloy wheels, a vented rear bumper and twin exhaust tips.
