UPDATE: Mercedes-Benz has now also released official new images of the new C-Class range's interior design. Article updated.
Set to be unveiled next year, and spied testing in Europe last month, the new C-Class will replace the W204 model which was last updated in 2011.
The images offer a tell-all look at the 2014 C-Class cabin, revealing a styling language in-line with the marque's latest new models.
There's the now familiar SLS-inspired circular air vents, a small sports steering wheel, leather and aluminium highlights throughout, and a large sweeping centre console.
The video clip offers a few decent shots of the exterior as well, including the door lines and front wheel arch along with a final snapshot of the car’s front profile at the end of the clip.
“An interior with high-class ambience, a new touchpad control surface and a lightweight bodyshell; all that and more will be featured in this upcoming Mercedes-Benz car model. Get a first glimpse here.”
Beyond the visual clues, engines and specifications for the new C-Class remain unclear, although a hybrid model is expected to be among the available choices.
Mercedes' new model will reportedly be aimed at attracting younger buyers to the three-pointed star, as the carmaker looks to attract current BMW 3 Series customers.
The all-new 2014 Mercedes-Benz C-Class is expected to make its international debut at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show.
