Mercedes-Benz has been spied testing a refresh for its small B-Class hatch, ahead of a launch likely to occur in the new year.
Unveiled in 2011 and launched onto the global market early in 2012, the new second-generation B-Class was among the first models to showcase Merc's new design language.
For 2014, the B-Class will get an early 'mid-life' update that will see the tall hatch given the same hooked headlight design that debuted with its A-Class sibling.
Changes elsewhere on the updated B-Class are likely to be subtle, with only minor tweaks at the rear-end and - although now shown here - a handful of new features and trim options in the cabin.
The new B-Class made its Australian debut in April last year, so expect this updated model to hit local showrooms toward the middle or end of 2014.
