2014 Lincoln Navigator: Extensive Update To Tackle New Escalade

Less than four months on from the unveiling of the new 2014 Cadillac Escalade in the US, Lincoln has reacted with an update to its Navigator luxury SUV.

The biggest news is a replacement engine, with the 5.4 litre V8 from the outgoing model replaced by a more powerful and more efficient 3.5 litre V6 EcoBoost engine.

The new power plant has twin turbochargers and direct injection, producing “at least” 276kW and 583Nm, with Lincoln claiming ‘best-in-class’ towing ability.
